With respect to the handling of financial products (including related services), Souken Leasing Inc. (the "Company") adopts as its basic policy compliance with this Policy and with relevant laws and regulations—including the Act on the Provision of Financial Services and the Development of the Environment for Their Use—and the conduct of sincere business activities worthy of customers’ trust.

The Company always acts from the customer’s perspective and strives to provide appropriate solicitation and information in accordance with the following principles.

1. Compliance with Laws and Appropriate Solicitation

  1. ・In selling and soliciting financial products, the Company complies with relevant laws and regulations, rules, and internal policies.
  2. ・The Company strives to conduct appropriate solicitation in line with each customer’s intentions and circumstances, comprehensively taking into account the customer’s knowledge, experience, financial situation, and purpose for using the financial product.

2. Clear Explanation and Provision of Important Matters

  1. ・The Company provides accurate and easy-to-understand explanations of important matters that may affect a customer’s decisions, such as the content, characteristics, and risks of financial products and the fees and other costs associated with transactions.
  2. ・The Company strives to provide sufficient and appropriate information that is not misleading, so that customers can transact based on their own judgment and at their own responsibility.
  3. ・The Company does not provide explanations that differ from the facts, or uncertain information that presents conclusive judgments about future profits.

3. Prohibition of Conduct That Inconveniences Customers

  1. ・The Company does not conduct solicitation or provide information by telephone, visits, or other means at times, in places, or in ways that would inconvenience customers.

4. Respecting Customer Feedback and Using It to Improve Operations

  1. ・The Company responds promptly and sincerely to inquiries, consultations, opinions, and complaints from customers.
  2. ・The Company takes customer feedback seriously and uses it to continuously improve its business operations and solicitation framework.

5. Knowledge Development of Officers and Employees and Framework Development

  1. ・The Company provides its officers and employees with ongoing education and training aimed at ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and at developing specialized knowledge of financial products.
  2. ・Through these efforts, the Company maintains and strengthens its internal framework so that all officers and employees can carry out appropriate solicitation.
